Imagine living in a world how it was intended to be.

In Genesis, the Lord created everything in 6 days, then rested on the 7th. In those 6 days, He separated light from darkness, land from sea, stars, living creatures, vegetation, man created in His own image, and sin was not in the picture.

As I was reading about creation, a piece of scripture caught my attention and I couldn't get past it: "Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth and no plant had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no one to work the ground,  but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground. Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being." - Genesis 2:4-7

He didn't make the flowers already bloomed? Wouldn't He make everything perfect already? Why would He not send rain?

As I sat with this scripture and these questions, it made me think about His process of beauty. What is beautiful to Him, the instant outcome or the process of what it produces along the way? I believe even in Eden, He was thinking of the journey. Still today, He is intentional about how He is growing us.

Maybe, just like in verse 2, He planted seeds in us that hasn't grown yet. Maybe He is not providing the rain we need because He knows how much farther our roots need to go to handle the weight from what's to come.

Beauty in the Lord has its own process. If it's in the Lords hands, He will make everything perfect in His timing. Just like Eden.
