"See my hands, reach out your hand and put it in my side.."
 
   This piece was inspired by a photograph I saw and I had to create it.
 In John 20, after Jesus was crucified, wrapped and buried in the tomb, I cant imagine how His people must had felt. Lost? Scared? Hopeless? Maybe thats how some of us feel today because we havent seen Jesus physically ourselves. 
  When Jesus appeared to His disciples, He walks in the door, shows His hands and says "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." They were all so overjoyed and I would imagine shocked at what they were seeing! Jesus goes on to say " Put your finger here, see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe."
 
   Some people today have a hard time believing that Jesus is real because they havent seen Him physically with their own eyes. Jesus, through this act, not only did He brutally die for our sins and save us, but He also is showing, once again, who He is. "Stop doubting and believe." If He can resurrect from the dead, He can do anything. If we would just stop doubting and embrace whats on the other side, we will see Him move in miracles, just like He did on that cross. Stop doubting and follow Him.
