Ive noticed something this past year. Something that hits me right to my core:
God doesnt need to give a word to communicate.
I came across this quote that inspired this piece:
"God spoke today in flowers, and I, who was waiting on words, almost missed the conversation." - Ingrid Goff-Maidoff
When I read that, I felt so warm inside, but also I felt like I had to check myself. Am I always begging God to give me a word? To speak a huge profetic word over me? Or am I listening to what He is putting right infront of me?
Nature is a huge part of the Lord and I's relationship. There's something about being in His creation and admiring His craft. When I take the time to watch whats around me, I hear promise. I hear love. I hear perfection. I hear my first love speak through the trees. There is no sweeter sound.
Have a conversation over the flowers. Will you listen?
